Rolex Submariner Bamford White Dial Stainless Steel Bracelet 1453863
- Product Review (submitted on 22 November 2017):
- I purchased a SS Sub-mariner in 1984 and have worn it constantly while diving in the FL Keys. Not much more than a simple fresh water rinse for daily service. I knocked the bezel off the watch while boarding the boat after a dive and fortunately was able to find the bezel (but not the small spring and ball assembly). While in NY, I stopped at the Rolex HQ and the "watch-tech" replaced the spring and ball at "no-charge" - certainly an unexpected surprise. I recently passed the watch to my son as an "off-to-college"gift. He now wears the watch every day. We had it serviced (about $400) and it continues to work perfectly. I originally paid about $1800 for the watch - new in '84 - and it has not only been a great time piece, it has retained it's value and now is a family heirloom that hopefully my son passes to the next generation. If you appreciate fine watches, this is the timeless piece everyone recognizes. You can't go wrong. I did replace my original Sub-Mariner with a Stainless and gold Yacht-Master and have also been happy with this watch.
